THKs!

Can this be used to upgrade from a lower version of vista such as home basic?

Works good, but I cant tell if its “activated” cause it still says 30 days to activate, will see in 30 days

it still counts down, it will need to be activated, i found one that is easy to use so its all good

(activation tool that is)

so can any one answer questions on this page? we have good once like language? and then its the selfish dude who finds a key but keeps it to him self… what about the rest off us? i dont know how to find any of thees thing and sorry but the lack of info keeps me from downloading.

Anyone not too sure about downloading this torrent I would say go for it. This is not an upgrade version. You will have to be prepared to do a clean install. It can install over an old version of windows and will put the files into a folder named “windows.old”. It installed for me without any problems. If you have a 64bit capable PC then it is worth it even if just for the experience of installing and familiarising yourself with another Operating System.

Most late model Desktop Intel and AMD CPU’s are 64bit capable.

When the dialog asking if you want to input your product key comes up click cancel. It feels a bit scary if you have not done it before, but don’t worry about it. This OEM version of Vista installs and self activates without the key so you really don’t have to worry about keys or activation. You gotta have faith as the song says.

Also take note of what the provider said above. Do not set a password for your user-account during setup.

Why does the dialog request for key input show up? From what I have read the DVD has every edition of Vista on it and the product key simply identifies the edition you purchased if you were so foolish as to do so. There is no way I would pay $999 to try an OPSys that by popular opinion is not the best. Not that you have to worry about it, as mentioned above, you don’t. Just click cancel when the dialog pops up, then follow the prompts as vista installs, which by the way is fairly quick compared to XP.

Here is a tip. If you download the iso (preferable) use “Ultra ISO” to open the file, then, choose your options from the Bootable menu to copy the files to for example an 8gb flash drive like the PatriotX or any similar sized drive. If you have a late model Motherboard like a Gigabyte X38/48 you can set from the BIOS to boot from the flash drive. Failing that just burn the iso (it’s bootable) to dvd. Ive done both and both work fine.

I’m currently downloading the 32bit version by the same provider just to cover my bases.

Have problems downloaded this and it counts down even thou that at startup it says activated after a couple of hours it sas x das ti activate. Anyone that know a good activation toll/crack that works evena after latest update from MS.

Dante if you are having problems with activation I can only assume that you have done something wrong during the installation process.
I have had no problems with my installation of the 64bit version. It is still activated a month after installation.
Anyways what might fix your problem is this activator, [Vista Activator x86 (32 bit) x64 (64 bit) Supports SP1 (Ver.3)] at TPB. Copy and paste that into the search bar at TPB. Good Luck.
Regards
