Considering RELOADED’s was 17 builds behind, there doesn’t seem to be a huge rise in version number. Can anyone confirm this is complete and not just an updated version of the beta?

It works , the only problem I know of so far is the fact sometimes a sim will pause and do nothing for almost 10 sim minutes when you tell them to do something, doesn’t happen often though and it might just be my comp, running windows7. I fully intend to buy this game on tuesday and go back to xp also. One thing you might notice is the transition from house to neighbourhood is not as smooth as is described. Oh, also, if anyone wants to know, there 7 life cycles, baby, toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult, elder; when you make a sim the default start age is young adult.

Where am I finding the image to mount? this has been a really long process for me and the anticipation is building up but i can’t seem to find or at least my computer can’t find the image to mount. Can soneome who has installed it and it’s working for them give some better installation instructions. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s no image to mount.. only a crack from Razor1911
What do you need to do is:
1-Download from Rapidshare/Torrent The Sims 3-Razor1911 (is the good build) DON’T Download Reloaded(Beta Build)
2-Install using Daemon Tools or burning into a DVD… don’t forget … don’t install EA Download Manager at the end of the setup.
3-Download the crack from Razor1911 ( http://www.btarena.org/games/crack-only/the-sims-3-crackfix-read-nfo-razor1911 )
4-Replace the original file with the crack.
5-Play!

Is there a Mac crack for this? I copied over the crack fix supplied into my bin folder, but the program asks for a cd…. I tried mounting the iso in toast but that doesn’t work.

I have installed it fine and copied the crack to the correct directory. But when I try to start the game, ts3.exe starts but then nothing happens. In task manager ts3.exe just stops running after a couple of seconds but I recieve no kind of message.
Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Hey. I downloaded this new version of the Sims 3. I installed the update, but still the fast forward won’t work. Any ideas why?? Please help. I downloaded Reloaded’s version and had the same problem. I deleted it and installed Razors’s and installed the patch and I’m still having the same prob.

Hey Guys. I have the Reloaded (BETA) build and am considering downloading this, but I’m not sure what the difference is. Is there a noticeable upgrade? From what I’ve heard, it’s main update was a faster game engine, but other people who have downloaded have said that they didn’t notice a difference in the load times. So does anyone have any idea what makes this better then the old one?

Mal, Amber, & Morgentaler, I am not having the issue that you guys are mentioning, I am running Vista x64.
Maybe you guys need to update your service pack.
If you haven’t, Get sp.1 then 2, or Windows will break.
But for some reason, my install and game is in Finnish…

The Sims 3 Already Pirated More than 180,000 Times

With the release date more than a week away, The Sims 3, the biggest game that Electronic Arts will release this summer, has been pirated by more than 100,000 people. The most recent estimates show that close to 200,000 have used or are using file sharing sites to get the pirated version of the videogame before it arrives in stores.

Joe Fleischer, who is the chief of marketing and a co founder of BigChampagne, which is monitoring file sharing traffic, declared that “That’s an impressive number. If people want the content and can download it on the Internet, which is pretty much all content types, they are going to do it.”

Electronic Arts has stated that the version of the game which can be downloaded for free from torrent sites is not complete and that the finished product will have extra features and more towns for players to simulate living. But it seems that this has not deterred gamers who are hungry to experience the latest product coming from the Maxis team led by Will Wright.

Another Will Wright created game, Spore, became, by some estimates, the most pirated videogame of 2008, after a lot of players were annoyed to find that the title had draconian Digital Rights Management measures that limited the number of installs and generally seemed to hurt legitimate customers more than pirates.

Electronic Arts made a 180-degree turn and decided to release The Sims 3 without any DRM but apparently this has not reduced the number of people interested in pirating the game. Still, Electronic Arts is sure to release more content for The Sims 3, probably via the EA Downloader bundled with the game, and pirates are likely to miss out on all that extra content. This might even lead some of those who have illegally downloaded the game and liked it to go out and buy a legitimate copy once it is released.

this is the final build as this torrent was extracted from the actuall disc at stores, the other towns come through the EA download manger that comes with this download the beta version did not come with this, but this one does so this proves its retail. Ty for the torrent Razor works perfectly for my vista, anyone have a mac crack?

Okay, so you’ve downloaded the Razor 1911 version of The Sims 3. It comes with an “informative” nfo file which tells you how to install the game. Right?

Sorta.

The installation directions are correct, but they are vague and difficult to understand at first if you are impatient and not thinking correctly. Here’s what you should have:

rzr-sim3.### (parts 001 to 054)

So OMG wtf are these files? I can’t extract a single file from one of them; when I burn them all onto a DVD or mount them, nothing happens.

This is the catch:

Parts 001 to 054 are all smaller parts of a spliced compressed folder.

Using WinRAR you can tell the program to extract all of them at once and it will begin to extract the “rzr-sim3.iso” for you, which you can then mount using MagicISO or some other mounting software.

I’ve been looking for quite some time now, and I haven’t been able to really find out whether this is the actual version of the sims 3 or not. Obviously it was released three days ago, so does that mean that this is actually it now, or that no one has bothered to try and change it since it’s actually available to buy? I’m not new to this, in fact, i’ve downloaded every single sims 2 game and expansion packs and installed them all fine.
But when i mount rzr-sim3.001 (with daemon tools pro), my computer does nothing, nor when i try any other file.
Why can’t I get it to install the game. Does someone know the awnser?

okay,

everybody!
winzip or winrar will NOT extract these files. you need 7 zip!
download it then once you’ve installed it and everything go to the first .001 file and extract it.
then open powerISO or daemon tools and mount it!
go through with the install then enter one of the activation codes on this page!
its that eassyyyy. but yeah, god it takes up ALOT of room, btw.
i had to delete a whole bunch of stuff off my computer for this!!

ummm yea.. so the install went smooth, i thought. I extracted the files using winRAR. I mounted using Daemon Tools Lite. Started up SIMS 3 installation. Used one of the activation codes given above. Installation went with no problems. But once i started the game and it was loading it, an error message came up saying “DISK AUTHORIZATION FAILURE – We are unable to verify that your disk is a valid copy of The Sims 3.”

you click on one of the files and choose “open”/”open with…” > “choose from the list” > and pick winrar. Wait a minute and there winrar will open. Then click “extract”.

Commands may sound differently, i translated those into english.

It’s quite easy. Simply go to My Computer, RIGHT click on the drive where the Sims 3 “disk” is, hit EXPLORE, and navigate to the CRACK folder. There, RIGHT click the .EXE titled the Sims 3, and go to where you installed the game (most likely under your Program Files, under Electronic Arts), open the GAME folder, then open the BIN folder, and literally drag the .EXE from the CRACK folder to the BIN folder. Delete the original .EXE that is in the BIN folder afterwards.

Hope that helped, it’s the best way I can explain it.

Works great for me, running XP Professional on a laptop, so it’s a little slow, but no worse than the Sims II.

So, I DLed the game, copied the crack, used the key-gen…

But I cannot find the ISO file to mount. I’ve tried right clicking and extracting everything from the original DL, but still…nothing. I’ve tried every file in the actual game files as well, and nothing.

ive installed the sims and everything,
i played it for the first and everthing was fine, just a little slow,
when i tryed to play it for the second time,
the sims just got stuck in the letterbox thingy, and wont move at all.

Recopy the cracks to TS3 game folder AGAIN after updating the patch. Worked for me…

I was downloading from the first links (the file-rack ones), and at the 57th part, when I click on download, it brings me to a page with weird symbols and is written “sound card”, and therefore does not download the 57th part. I check with th 58th and it works, every other parts work except the 57. Can someone please tell me why it does that and help me fix it?

I’ve installed the game and before i copied the crack files i could go through the video start up bit but then got an error message saying could not verify if it was a valid version of sims 3. so i copied the crack files to the game/bin and now i cant get anywhere as all it says is that i need the disk! this is the very first time i’ve downloaded a torrent so any help is appreciated!!

for the problem of the(.0xx file type) use prog. “filejoiner e spliter” ,or the hard way change the first “0″ for an “r”in all files, then you can run winrar

ok i’ve downloaded the “The sims 3- Razor1911″from the piratebay.org.
This is what I’ve done:
1. Mount the WinZip file in the folder “The Sims 3 – Razor1911 MAXSPEED http://www.torentz.3xforum.ro“.
2. No problems until it asks me for the license. I go look for the keygen in Razor1911 directory by opening the WinZip file with WinZip. The keygen doesn’t work (as in it opens for a second and then dies).
3. I found a serial online and tried using it. It’s valid.
4. I move on to the actual installation. No problems for ten minutes until it starts having problem with files that don’t seem to correspond to the folder .cab in the program installation folder. Wtf? My options are: ignoore, try again or interrupt installation. I’ve tried ignoring all the way to the end and it wouldn’t work. HELP!

1st. Unzip/Unrar Files.

2nd. Mount The image By using PowerISO/Daemon Tools

3rd.Install The Game NOTE(Don’t Install “EA GAMES” Download Manager at the installation wizard\
And Use the Serial Number Given.

4th. Copy And Replace “TS3″ & “TSLHost.dll” From The CRACK Folder To Your Game Directory: Game/Bin

5th Play it And Enjoy

i didn’t get this error but here is what i found:

Unfortunately for some of us, the recently released Sims 3 can cause some headache, especially due to some unwanted errors, like the “Disc Authentication Error” message many people are reporting (which appears to be generally connected with the “MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-841S” device. But don’t worry anymore! Thanks to Electronic Arts we have the answer to correct the disc authentication error on your computer!
According to an official troubleshooting message, this disc authentication error in The Sims 3 usually appears when or if your machine has DLA installed on it (software that allows DVD recording by drag and dropping). Here is what you have to do in order to deal with this problem and solve it:
- Click on the Start menu on the Windows Taskbar.
- Click on My Computer.
- Right-click on the DVD drive letter you are using to run your game.
- Select Properties from the list of options.
- You should see a DLA tab in the Properties panel, where you can disable the DLA software on your machine.
If disabling the DLA software from the Properties panel does not solve your issue, you can also try to update the drivers for your DLA software through the manufacturer’s website. If updating your drivers still causes you to get the ‘disc read authentication’ error, you might want to completely uninstall your DLA software using the ‘Add or Remove Programs‘ tool in the Control Panel.
If you have no DLA but still receiving the Disc Authentication Error message, you should try to turn off or uninstall any disc emulation software you might have (such as Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%). Hope this solves you disc authentication problems in the Sims 3 and you can fully enjoy your game!

THE COMPLEATE STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO ADD THE CRACK

this is extreamly simple to do.
1. download the sims 3 torrent.
2.open the document and mount the file (sims3) onto you virtual drive (free versions of alcahole, poweriso. or demontools)
3. open the serial readme file
4.run install and enter one of the serials in the notepad file

patches.
1.double click on the two patches and run them
—————————————————————————-
the crack
1. click start and open my computer
2.click on C: drive
3.open program files (either x86 or x32)
4. open Eletronci arts
5. open the sims 3 file
6.open game foulder, and then bin foulder

now
1.open the crack foulder you should have on you desktop (or whereever you saved it)
2.take the “ts3″ file and move it from desktop (or wherever you stored it) and move it to bin. it will ask you to replace, click yes
3.go back into the crack on desktop and and now take the “TLShost.dll” and do exactly the same thing, again it will ask you if you wish to replace, click yes. now run the game

if you wish to install the store data just do the below
1. open the foulder with it in
2. click start then enter “the sims 3″ in the serch bar
3. open the foulder and then click on downloads
4.take the “store foulder” and move it into “downloads
5.run the game, go to downloads and then click install all

there you go, everything you will need. I myself couldnt find a helpfull guide and just found out how to do it myself, i dont agree with people being big headed about offering help or talking down to people becuse they are not sure what to do, so i am posting this here for all of you with problems playing the game. just do me a favoure… if you see another person with a problem getting the game to run, just pass them along this info.

I tried extracting The Sims 3 – Razor1911 MAXSPEED file with WinRar and a window pops up and reads “Archive is either damaged or not found”. I’ve tried downloading this several times and still doesn’t work. I tried on a different computer and it worked just fine. Help?
