I've tried to redo all the steps but now when I look into my documents/ea games/the sims freetime/tsbin there is no such file. The only folder in documents/ea games/ is /the sims 2 I no longer see any of my other expansion packs. And after mounting the iso and all that i go to run the autorun.exe and after i allow it to run nothing happens. I'm stuck someone please give me some advice i'd like to try anything without having to uninstall and reinstall because i do not even know where my original TS2 gamecase is. Unless downloaded a fully loaded torrent with all versions might just be a better idea? I installed the newest version of DirectX (maybe not the right version, links would be helpful!) and I’ve also installed something from GameCopyWorld that I thought would help. It’s still happening and I don’t know if a simple restart of the computer will fix it or what.

I also don’t know what type of graphics I have (the manufacturer or the version or anything), but if someone told me where to find that, I would gladly tell you

You need to have the no-cd-crack from gamecopyworld.com and of course have the game installed. Then you do these simple steps: 1. Then go to C:\Program\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 FreeTime\TSBin and replace the Sims2EP7.exe there with the crack also. 3. Launch the game with Sims2Launcher in the TSbin and somehow this actually the game working. You might even be able to start the game by clicking the usual Sims2EP7.exe now, but I haven't tried that yet. I noticed many had problems with the direct X9-message popping up and I somehow managed to solve this on my computer.

I've just solved the update problem. People who bought the game won't have this problem but when you are using a cracked version you will. You have to have the original sims2.exe file.I allways keep the original file and rename it to .ori So I renamed the cracked exe file as .fake and renamed the original file back into .exe .
