The spoken language is in english but the letters in the game are all screwed upp. Looks just like the russian version i tried before i reinstalled this one. Any help?

Not sure if anyone has the same problem but when I try to install the game it just freezes when it gets to “Fallout – Textures.bsa” part then crashes saying that it’s looping or something…

Anyone has any ideas??

Hey im having a problem… when i load the game the loading screen starts but after about 10 seconds it just freezes and i have 2 “ctrl alt delete it” there are no error messages or anything like that. any ideas?

aoldog, are you using a computer moniter or a tv? I use my tv as a monitor and sometimes need to have the tv do an auto adj function to fit the game into the screen. otherwise adj screen ratio

Don’t trust windows, NEVER, after 6 years of xp they still fix bugs & backdors under “security updates”. Thanks about your reply but i resolved my problem, its a game bug, about the newest grafic cards with pci xpress 2.
Apparently u gotta’ have your game resolution lower than your dektop. I run a 1280×1024 LCD desktop so y made my game resolution 1024×768, and know works fine.

ik krijg al die Dia’s er voor en dan druk ik op new en dan maak ik een new game aan. Na een tijdje laden krijgt die een APPCRASH

I have an problem with Fallout 3
i installed the game with no problems and when i start the game up
i get all the pictures then i start a new game so i press “new game”
then after a few second it says : APPCRASH

i have vista x32
i have no freakin idea how computer works so.. xD

downloaded fine, installed fine, plays fine on xp pc with 512mb geforce 9800 4 gigs ram, sound is f’d up though every now and then, a high pitch squeel seems to get worse when you move the mouse over speech options….anyone heard of this?

Im trying to get to the jefferson memmorial and just before i get ther the game shuts off windows failure!!

This is for ASUS / NVIDIA hardware.
Could run F3 on XP but not on VISTA 64. Started up OK, but crashed
when clicking on NEW game. Exception code c0000005.
I have a ASUS P5N32-E SLI motherboard and a ASUS EN880GTX video card.
I had ASUS PC Probe, Gamer and SmartDoctor installed. Also Asus ACPI
running.
Here is how I fixed this situation.

Required items:
Game + Latest Patch
Download latest video driver from NVIDA – not from ASUS!
If you want to use SmartDoctor download Ver 5.33 fro ASUS.
A registry cleaner that works on VISTA 64 (i.e. CleanMyPC)

Procedure:
1.) Completely uninstall the game.
2.) Open Task scheduler. Check for ASUS ACPI and ASUS RegRun.
Disable or delete in task scheduler.
3.) Uninstall ASUS gamer. May require re-boot.
4.) Uninstall ASUS SmartDoctor. May require re-boot.
5.) There may be some files left behind. Open My Computer.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS
Delete GamerOSD and SmartDoctor folders.
Empty wastebasket on desktop.
6.) Run Registry Cleaner to eliminate leftover entries. Re-boot.
7.) Open device manager.
Open Display adapter
Open Nvidia geforce 8800GTX (in my case).
Click on Driver tab, than select Uninstall.
Driver will uninstall, VISTA re-boots than installs a backup driver.
This requires another re-boot.
8.) Run Registry Cleaner to eliminate leftover entries. Re-boot.
9.) Install the latest driver from NVIDIA.
10.) Install game. Install latest game patch.
11.) Re-boot and try to run game. It should work now.
12.) If game runs OK and you want to use SmartDoctor (I do), then
install Version 5.33. Do NOT install ASUS Gamer.

Thank you for this download, seeding atm. One problem though. When i press install i get “An error (-5004 : 0×80070002) has occurred while running the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Bethesda Softworks….” I’ve heard that deleting the C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\Runtime folder could fix this, but i also hear it can cause problems if deleted, any other way of fixing this? Any response is appreciated.

Just reading some previous comments about errors and what not, the best experience I have aver had with windows was with xp and service pack 3 I never had issues with anyprogram, since “upgrading” to vista x64 I have had nothing but issues, can’t run a lot of my programs (peerguardian 2) plus I can’t seem to run trainers without the game itself crashing (in xp everything was running fine) I have learned a valuable lesson in this, if it’s not broken don’t fix it! PLEASE SEED!

It’s posible to install the ultimate patch of the game, whitout problems, plzzz, it runs sometimes unstable, and i know that this patch can fix it,

Removing Gamer OSD fixed the problem completely. I’m using a radeon 4870, btw, and have been searching high and low for a fix for this!

ok guys fallout 3 is preety buggy i dled the skullpera one and it works fine its just the game is unstable it even was on ps3 sometimes it crashed heres what i did i updated them game and fixed a few problems all so google fallout nexus and grab ome fix mods from there helped alot for vista users the update should fix that problem your haveing . allso dont forget too use the data files part too activate the dlc’s allso if anyone doesnt know how too use a image face desk youre self reptively and use google demon tools lite hope its helped and welcome too fallout 3 the 2nd best game in the world asies from fallout 2

download a tiny file from there , its something like this : d3d9.dll . put the file into the game folder and VOYLA . you can play . in youtube there are many fixes , so dont go just googleing everything . search youtube for something like FallOut 3 Windows 7 fix . or smthng like that ..
