Problems are not isolated to cracked version but retail also. Quick tips&tricks: 1. Install latest graphics drivers (both Nvidia & Ati)
2. Install DirectX 9 Aug 2009 (link inside link above). Even Vista/Win7 users!
3. Try running in compatibility mode “Win98/NT”, disable “desktop composition” (aero) and disable “visual themes”.

you need to copy (and overwrite) all files from archive to you installed folder. ex. c\program files\ea games\nfs shift.. or something like this.

Hei. I have a problem – when I click on NFS Shift, it gives me error – this application has failed to start, because binkx32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Why it is not found? Where do I need to put this application? Please help me.
